BBC Premier League Predictions column this week- Actor and Hammer Stephen Moyer
It's almost always some millennial Liverpool or Man U fan from the South East, or some hipster gooner. But for once one of us.

His bits are quite a good read and seems to feel similar to many of us about certain things. Worth a look.

I read Sutton’s prediction every week and go straight to the scores missing out the blurb of the nonentities.

This week Sutton predicts us to lose so there are grounds for optimism come Sunday.

"So my big beef, really, is that Moyes sets ups too defensively. Americans don't get this when I say it, and some English fans don't agree with me either, but I would rather lose playing great, and maybe taking a few risks, than win being terrible to watch and super defensive. I would rather be at the bottom, just above the relegation zone, playing with flair, than being around the top six, playing like this. I want to watch exciting football and although Moyes has got us to sixth place, which is just unbelievable, it is just not how I want my team to play. It is time for a change."

is he a WHOer?

A lot of you wrote there is sadly true. I'm guessing I'm not too far behind you in age.

I'd hate anything forced like that. My original post was more of a tongue in cheek GAG about how shit we play.

I see a lot of "supporters" who dont even seem to know how to make any noise.

"Yeah, much better having it a morgue, Wils."

I think I would prefer to be in a morgue than endure what he described there.

However, I did relent and went back and read the rest. And to be fair, he did diagnose the problem well. Our expectations have changed. Not just at West Ham but everywhere.

I noticed at Anfield they were piping crowd noise through the PA. I could hear the stand to our right singing and when I scanned the seats everyone was silently watching game.

I get a bit irritated by the forced atmosphere at LS (and they were already doing it at Upton Park) with the bubble machine and playing bubbles as the teams come out.

I don't have any fix for it though. It's also partly to do with the age profile of a premier league crowd and also that the West Ham demographic is now a diaspora rather than a local community. We have fossilised and we all know what damage fossils do to an atmosphere.

Yeah, much better having it a morgue, Wils.

To be honest, I'd be up for any kind of entertainment at the stadium. We're not getting it watching the football.

"What happens there is when an Atlanta player gets substituted, or when you get to the 22nd minute and the number 22 is on the pitch, their song gets sung.

"That happened late on in a game I was at, when it was dark in the stadium, and everyone got their lighters out "

He was touting this as an idea to improve the atmosphere at West Ham. So I stopped reading at this bit.
